Host: Todd, what’s the worst part of this policy when you look at everything?
Bensman: Well, there’re a lot of terrible things with this program. To me, chief among them is that the American people can’t see it happening. They have brought in 550,000 people by flights directly into U.S. airports instead of letting them do what the were planning to do, which was to illegally cross our border.
Which you can see. And object to. And seek redress from your leaders about. If they’re flying in, you can’t really tell if it’s someone coming from one of those chosen countries or anyone just flying domestically.
The other problem is, in my research, we had FOIA litigation, you know Freedom of Information Act litigation about this. And it’s supposed to be, you know, a humanitarian rescue program where we’re bringing them on humanitarian grounds, to proect them from some kind of harm over there.
And our FOIA request suit found that they’re flying in from the hottest vacation wonderlands in the world. They’re flying in from the safest, richest, bestest countries in the world. Germany, France, Italy, Spain. Iceland!! Um, Fiji. Australia. So if that’s some kind of humanitarian rescue program, to me THAT’s the fraud. And nobody’s paying attention to that fraud, and I guarantee you they haven’t fixed THAT.
Host: Todd, like so many things happening in America right now, this one makes me cry out to the heavens, why are are doing this? So, can you go through the official reasoning, the official account for why this is happening. And also give us what you think the real reason is.
Bensman: Sure! I’ve studied this at length, the public statements, the proposed federal regulations. They don’t hide it, not that part anyway. They say that this is a way to decongest the physical land border, where you have just hundreds of thousands illegally crossing.
So they’re saying, ‘hey, instead of crossing illegally and adding yourself to this massive population crossing the border why don’t you just apply online for a flight? We’ll approve you and you can save all the smuggling money!’ It’s to decongest the border. They also say that if you can prevent the use of smugglers to get to the border then it’s safer. And that comports with their ‘safe, orderly, and humane’ mass migration policy.
It’s not to block, stop and deter like normal countries and normal governments. It’s to usher them in in a more safe and orderly way. And that’s just way outside any sort of norm at all.
This whole program, also, has not been approved by Congress. You can’t just create an admissions program for immigrants abroad – THIS size – without congressional approval. And that’s exactly what they did.
