The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) acquired rare access to a program by the Biden administration that’s seeking to find legal pathways for what would be illegal border crossings. NTD spoke to Todd Bensman, a senior national security fellow at CIS. Bensman said that Americans have a deal with Mexico in which migrants are legalized while still in Mexico and then hand-delivered to Americans at the ports of entry, and that the DHS’s “legal pathways” for immigrants are “making accommodations for immigrants who would have crossed illegally.”
