“It shows the extent to which Democrats during the campaign were willing to politicize a routine, normal activity of enforcement down along the border. You have to have some place to keep unaccompanied children so that they are protected. This is not putting kids in cages so much as protecting them from traffickers and pedophiles and who know what. That’s just what we do as a country. Border Patrol and ICE have protocols to make sure kids are safe.”
